My name is Sam Soares. With more than 20 years of experience driving professionally in the Boston area and throughout New England I would like to introduce to you our company Boston Preferred Car Service. We provide exceptional Chauffeured Private, Business or Leisure, Car and Limousine Service Transportation between Boston Logan International Airport, Boston and all other Massachusetts Cities and Towns. We offer Hybrids, Luxury Sedans, SUVs, Vans with Flat Fees and Hourly Services. Our Service, Reliability and Satisfaction are what we are most proud of.

This is an updated review:

The driver was considerate but arrived over 30 minutes late with no courtesy call that he would be late. I had to reach out to him to discover where he was. The company did not contact me to tell me how late he was going to be until he was already 31 minutes late. He did not modify his planned trip to better accommodate our needs (the reason we booked a private guide tour). He answered the phone repeatedly while driving, even stopping his descriptions mid-sentence to take a call. During the last third of the trip, he was constantly texting while driving and describing the city to us. I did not always feel safe riding with him while he was texting and driving. I would not recommend spending money on this private tour, at least not without agreed-upon parameters and reasonable price reductions based on unmet, mutually agreed-upon expectations.

After reaching out to the company, I am grateful that they offered a partial refund of the tour and explained how they were addressing the issues. I would be confident working with them on a future tour.

As usual, Boston Preferred Car Service handled all aspects of this transaction flawlessly. From the initial phone contact, to the pleasant and safe drivers, David and Natalia, and the helpful texts, this was and always is a pleasant experience. The service is prompt, professional, and courteous. The vehicles are maintained in spotless, excellent condition. Nothing but superlatives!!!

First driver, Levi, picked us up from the airport on time, fantastic vehicle, super nice guy, great experience. Booked a week later to go back to the airport, paid in advance, driver never showed up, messaged the company 3 times that morning to see if they were late, not going to show, whatever, never received a response, waited an extra 30 minutes and ended up taking Lyft. Two days later, have requested a refund and still no response from anyone. No sorry, we screwed up, nothing. For a rate that's 5X what lyft, uber, etc. are I expect them to be better. Just show up. Will never use this company again.

Our tour guide provided a great Boston overview. The car was comfortable and our guide was very knowledgeable. We got to customize the tour to the places we wanted to highlight, stop and spend more time at certain places.

We booked a day long tour with Boston Preferred Car Service a week or so before heading to Boston for our daughter's Tufts graduation. When Sam arrived to pick us up it was pouring rain which never let up. Boy were we glad to be touring the Freedom Trail in a car and not walking it! There were 13 of us in the executive van and were we lucky to get such a patient tour guide. Sam did great with there being so many of us. He timed lunch perfectly at Harvard Square and his hamburger recommendation at Bartley's was great advice. Had it not been raining we would have taken his suggestion to tour the USS Constitution and a few other recommended sites, but it wasn't in the cards. All in all, we could not have been happier with the car, the tour, and Sam. Highly recommend.

Sam was great! Before arriving to Boston the Communication was really good in letting us know the details of pickup and about the tour. Sam was on time, car was very clean, with cold water waiting for us. We had a 7 hour layover in Boston and wanted to see as much as we could. Sam was wonderful driving us around the city in rush hour. He knew so much of the history in Boston and lots of fun facts I never knew. He gave us time to get out and see the sights on foot. Wish we had more time. Very happy with the service and would use again next time we are in Boston to.

The best ever tour. Five in our party with luggage. Sam was our tour guide. Car was spacious and comfortable. Sam really knows his stuff. Learned so much. Dropped us off at the cruise port. Took 6 other tours on our cruise and we all agreed that Sam’s tour of Boston was the best.

I was traveling to Boston for my daughter's graduation with a party of seven (7), This tour was a huge part of the itinerary. I scheduled the tour weeks in advance. The company canceled the tour at the last minute, less than 24 hours notice without any explanation. Because of the numerous graduations in the area coupled with the holiday weekend, it was impossible to schedule another tour during the same time frame. Ironically, had I canceled with less than 24 hours notice, I would have been on the hook for the cost of the tour.

Please do not book and risk an 11th hour cancellation!!!

We are really sorry we had to cancel this trip with such a short notice. Some times things happens that are beyond our control. This is extremely rare, but when we have to cancel a tour, we hate it as much as you do. Employees are not allowed to go to work when they are felling sick or have a fever. One thing you can be sure about is that we always have our customer's best interest and safety in mind.
