The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Jamaica Plain
This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct community unique and separate from the bustle of other areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful, large green space well worth a visit if you venture to JP.

    Must visit for beer fans
Great your and a must visit if you like Sam Adams. The location is about 15 minutes out from Boston and in a sketchy location. The tour was fantastic price and was around 45 minutes. Depending on the group size- you get around 5/6 different samples. The shop is cool and the taproom outside is a lovely spot to sample some of the beers.

Interesting history lesson of S.A. along with tastings
If you like beer, and want to see the origins of Samuel Adams, this is the tour to go. A bit out of the way, but not that far by T. They show you the original brewery, which is now used only for R&D purposes, and explain the fundamentals of beer. You get several tastings along the way, and an interesting lesson on hops and beer components. I enjoyed the tour, even though I don't like beer, so that says something on how well they run it.

Don't listen to locals it is great
We were told by many locals the a tour from Samuel Adams was overrated but we really enjoyed it. Samuel Adams makes a lot of experimental beers on this site and you have to go to try them. We did the beyond the brewery tour and got to try 3 unique beers. Brendan was our tour guide and he was great. The Taphouse is very welcoming and relaxing. I wish it was open later.

    Good tour and tasting
This tour might be one of the highlights of my time in Boston. Brendan was a great host and gave knowledgeable insight to the world of beer-brewing, whilst making the tasting experience fun and a good laugh. Considering the tour only costs about $11 each, I’d say you get great value not only in beer drinking (you get to try 3) but also an enjoyable 45 minutes around the brewery. We also enjoyed a drink in the bar at the brewery, which seemed a cool place to chill out afterwards.

    Short & informative tour
Our guide Joel was funny and knowledgeable. We toured 3 rooms and had 3 different beer tastings. At the end of the tour we were given a small Samuel Adams glass cup. Definitely visit the Tap Room and get a flight of beers. 🍻

The number 1 best thing we did on our trip to Boston
We were spending a few days in Boston and didn't know what to do with our evening. We came across the brewery on a quick internet search and thought we'd check it out. We did a tour and stayed afterwards for some drinks and musical bingo - it ended up being one of the best nights of our trip! It was a great time, awesome vibe and the prices were really reasonable.

Highlight of our trip to Boston!
As someone who actually went to the brewery and didn’t get scared off by a piece of fabric, it was great! We took the basic tour and had a fantastic time! Plenty of beer, some of which you can’t get anywhere else! Awesome to see the research and development side of Samual Adams! The tour guide was great! Worth the drive!

We did the 45 minute Sam Adams Beyond the Brewhouse tour and can highly recommend it. The guide was super fun and informative and we got to sample 3 beers in our visit. We also got to keep our small tasting glasses as a souvenir of our. Visit. This tour is great value and highly recommended.

Walked in, walked straight out, no pun intended. I counted 4 pride flags before paying for a tour or drinking a beer. I’m not here to judge anyone but the silent majority is sick and tired of hearing about your plight.

Samual Adams lost business as today and in the future due to their woke corporate culture. A corporation can be inclusive without going overboard, I’m an HRM Professional so I would know.

We toured many Kentucky distilleries. No comparison! This was just an expensive tasting with cheese. Not worth the money, just a money grab.
Save your $40.oo and have a good dinner!

The tour was ok, I wasn't overly impressed. You'll go to room where the beer is made and they'll give the full story of how they got started and the many beer awards they've received. They'll then take you to a room to taste test some beer and explain the diff kinds of beer. Something to do like on a rainy day, the time I went.
