Keep your Boston hotel, and do not drive. Just relax and enjoy the sights as you travel within an hour to Salem. It gives you a different perspective on life of the early times, as boats were a major way of getting about. The kids...More

Took the whale watching tour from Boston Harbour last week. Took around 1 1/2 hours to get where we needed to be (the area which the whales feed) which was off the coast of Cape Cod. Almost straight away we had sightings of whales including...More

We really enjoyed this 45 minute cruise around Boston Harbor. They were on time, very friendly and we learned a lot about the harbor area we didn't know before. This was a free ticket with the Hop-On-And-Off Bus Tour that made it even nicer! Lots...More

We took this cruise to the Cape and it was awesome! Easy to locate and get tickets (you can get them ahead of time...they are the same price everywhere). I did see that they offered a Groupon, but it was sold out by the time...More

Our teenage sons rode this and enjoyed every second of it! They got to see some of the harbor islands, enjoyed some jokes (at the expense of one of them!), and were smiling and laughing when they returned. Success!

Great way to end our visit to Boston. We had a beautiful evening. The staff was very kind and helpful. Dinner was served, which was mediocre. A DJ played the whole time, which was a lot of fun.

Took the 90 minute cruise. There is not enough seating outside, especially for those of a bigger size (6'5" 300 lbs.)---only plastic yard chairs. The day and the cruise were beautiful. The tour guide (or whomever was giving out the info over the loudspeaker) was...More

Highly recommend this tour, especially if you bought the Trolley Tour and it comes free with that ticket. We had no issues with line-ups, literally walked up 5 minutes before departure and were able to get on. Our tour guide was good, very informative. Was...More

After walking around the city, my son and I decided to take a break. This was perfect. We chose the 90 minute cruise. We saw a lot of the area, while learning about the city as well. We sat up top, wrought iron chairs, nothing...More

I went on a very sunny day so I can't really answer that. If they do go out they have an inside area you can stay in. Keep in mind they really pack in the people so I don't know if there would be enough room for all to be... More

Yes. We are permitted to take suitcase in the ferry. In fact ferry transportation is there to Logan Airport and people are carrying suitcases.

Most whale watch tours in New England only run during the summer into early fall. But you can try doing a whale watch tour google search just in case.
