This is a classic venue and a wonderful place to see shows - great alternative to a big stadium - provides a very intimate setting. However, the venue has tragically fallen into such a state of disrepair that it's almost difficult to sit through a...More

After recently returning to the area after a decade long hiatus, I had the opportunity to, once again, see a concert at the Orpheum. If you are purely interested in modern conveniences and cutting edge electronic trickery then this grand old lady is not for...More

So many great shows have passed through this place. It feels cozy while still holding large crowds. Great acoustics but small seats. Make sure you like the people next to you.

I enjoyed the Orpheum. I read the other reviews about its state of disrepair, but that's not what I would choose to talk about. The bathroom was clean my event priced beer (always expensive no matter the event or venue)was cold and fresh. I love...More

I went to see Puscifer here VIP. I was able to get close to the act and interact with it in spectacular fashion. The architecture and the building itself are old, but it gives it character. If a performer you have is coming here and...More

We went to see Norah Jones, who was fabulous, but the theatre experience was tortuous. Imagine the Bat Cave reeking of stale beer, without all the cool toys, at about 45 degrees, with 60 years of dirt and a staff that is indifferent to your...More

Had seats upstairs, but too close to the stage. When the tall person in front of us leaned forward to get a better view, it totally blocked my view. Seats are okay if you are 5 feet tall, but not for someone over 6 ft...More

The staff was rude and disinterested, the seats were disgusting, the audience out of control and we were there to see Norah Jones, not exactly a had banger. (She was fabulous). The experience was ruined by the audience constantly getting up for drinks, talking, and...More

Paid way too much to sit in a cold theatre that we couldn't even find! Hidden in a back alley that GPS didn't find for us as we walked around. Needs serious updating. Our theatre in Elkhart, IN puts this too shame! Way to go...More

Went to see Tedeschi Trucks. Susan Tedeschi is a local, so it was sure to be great! And it was. The Theater is incredibly historic. That is both the up side and the down... Up side Incredible architecture inside, including unique oval walkway behind the...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

The green line to park street is right next to the venue, orange line to downtown crossing is close also.
