What an exciting place: the views of the harbor and city are spectacular, and watching planes taking off and landing, and the evening lights come up is a real treat. It's especially good to show off/introduce Boston to visitors, although I've lived here 30 years and just starting delighting in it. The food is very good, however, the real star... More

We booked the table for the evening to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were bit skeptical about the service but turned out to be the best. Yannie served us and she was excellent and was very courteous If you want to get the window seating, try to book the table at least 2 days in advance but there is do... More

Stopped by for a drink at the bar and got a table with a great view, like their drinks. The drinks/wine menu is good with great selections, but the food menu is kind of limited, was looking for a good salad but didn't find any that would attract me. Ordered some appetizers but the food was not great, the calamaris... More

We had dinner at Top of the Hub, but our kids loved the view the best! Our reservation was a bit before sunset, so we got to see the city, but also watched planes come and go at Logan and tried finding some of our favorite places.

Went to the Top of the Hub close to opening day years ago. It has a nice and varied New England menu and the views are NSEW.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
