I've visited several times, including seeing a wonderful evening performance of Hamlet-- really effective use of this historic building. The Tiffany windows are remarkable, and hearing the symphonic Welte-Tripp organ going full-tilt is a real trip(p)-- pun intended. Must-see Back Bay stop!

A stone's throw away from Boston Gardens is a gem of a church .... looks more like a cathedral to me. It's stone tower/ steeple soars high in the very heart of Boston and demands to be explored. Although its cornerstone was laid in 1865,...More

The light streaming through this beautiful collection of Tiffany-glass windows is unforgettable. There is also intriguing information in printed handouts, both about the technical and historical artistry and also the Social Gospel context for commissioning these windows from Tiffany.
