I was skeptical at first after reading previous reviews but am very happy we went ahead with this tour. Some of the best tasting chocolate I have ever eaten (and I consider myself quite the connoisseur). Our tour guide was informative, entertaining and able to answer any questions our group had. I would definitely recommend this to the chocolatiers among... More

I didn't let myself get carried away by the negative posts here and actually took the best risk ever. This tour took us to the best chocolatiers in Boston where we tasted all different kinds of chocolates in all shapes and colours! As usual in these tours I met great people who I now plan to see in other cities... More

I am a real chocolate lover and was expecting a lot from this tour and I was not disappointed. The kids also enjoyed the experience, the guide had a great sense of humor and made us laugh. Great experience and would definitely recommend it!

I booked this tour on impulse for my wife and I am glad I did. Our tour guide Ben brought us to 7 different stores and provided us with some really interesting history of the area. Although we only got one backroom visit we were still very satisfied. I am surprised at some other reviews and don't believe myself and... More

Despite the negative reviews of this tour on trip advisor I took chance on booking myself on to it as I've been on various tours with this company and never been disappointed before. I certainly wasn't disappointed with this one either, had a good laugh with the guide and other people on the tour, really enjoyed it would go again... More

There were about 20 of us waiting at the Copley statue and the tour guide never showed. We waited for about 45 minutes. Best Tours does not have a phone number so we had to "chat" on our phones with them. After around 20 minutes of trying to contact the tour guide, Best Tours canceled the tour.

Walking to 5 stores and ordering enough samples of food for a group is not a tour! No information whatsoever!

The "tour guide" just took us to 5 stores and the stores gave us a few samples. No backroom visits or explanation about the places. No history. No information at all actually....He was texting throughout the tour and then had the audacity to ask us for tips at the end after showing us some stores! What a joke! Had this... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
