I hadn't been to Boston since the Greenway was built, and it is a great addition to the walkability and green space of the city. Lots of activity, vendors, people and dogs enjoying walks. Loved the harbor fog interactive sculptures and marsh plantings.

A group of 3 friends and myself travelled from Plymouth to Boston recently for the purpose of walking the Greenway. We are so glad we made the trip! We travelled to Boston on the T from Braintree which was very easy and quick. It was...More

We've walked through Boston many times but never the Greenway. It was a beautiful, and fun way to enjoy the city. We parked in one of the garages at Fanuel Hall - weekend rate was $16 for 3.5 hours. Our boys wore their swim suits...More

Rose Kennedy Greenway replaced the other "Green Monster," Boston's ill-fated "Central Artery," an ill-designed 10-lane, 19-offf-and-on-ramp highway that cut off the east side of the city from...EVERYTHING. From the second it was completed MIT engineers were already chirping in the ears of city officials offering...More

Beautifully done area that you can walk and enjoy the ingenuity that went in to creating this space.

If you're at all interested in landscape design or just looking for a nice place to sit and people watch, the Rose Kennedy Greenway is perfection. What a great addition to the beautiful city of Boston.

The Greenway is one of my favorite parks in Boston, a refreshing oasis between two busy roads. Every section of the Greenway is unique and malleable. The Chinatown section is a welcoming plaza with a large beautiful gate and interesting murals, Dewey Square has a...More

We all know the Big Dig cost a fortune, but what a difference this greenway has made to the City of Boston. Certainly more activities on the weekend, but still a lovely walk any day.

the greenway is a space once covered by a very ugly highway. to see it now makes me smile. start at the Aquarium and walk the greenway, splash in the splash pool, ride the carousel, or just walk along and enjoy the space.

I wouldn't just toss around the title of my favorite place in Boston willy-nilly! That guy who rated it one star for being a "waste of money" must have forgotten what the Expressway was like--yikes! The Greenway has completely transformed the city and provides a...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

As the others have said, the sculpture, which is suspended high in the air by wires that are barely visible, can be viewed 24/7. A bright sunny day really brings out all the different shades of blues, oranges, etc. On windy... More
