This is a fantastic experience to add to your Boston trip and I certainly recommend it. The clipper was a beautiful ship and she sailed smoothly. The open bar was a nice addition and there was plenty of places to sit; however, the captain said the vessel was at 50% normal booking - if that is the case, I imagine... More

Thie sunset cruise was a relaxing way to end a busy day of sightseeing. The ship leaves the harbor and sails for 90 minutes. The crew knows what they are doing and are friendly and helpful.

My wife and I had a great time on the Schooner Liberty Clipper. The crew was busy with the ship but happy to answer questions and chat. If you want to participate the crew allows passengers to assist with hoisting the sails although I assure you they are pulling the weight on that endeavor. There is a bar on board... More

Just took a Sail on the larger of the two schooners. Was a great day out on Boston Harbor. The dialogue from the captain good, there is ample opportunity to imbibe onboard if you so desire. There is a lack of good seating, but another reviewer indicated that, so we were there early. Overall a great trip, and a great... More

My husband and I did an afternoon cruise with a couple friends on the Clipper and we had a blast. The crew was energetic and got you involved with raising the sails which is fun to do. They also give you lots of commentary on what's around the harbour with the history and architecture and where celebrities live :) We... More

Fantastic 2 hours sunset cruise! Spectacular view to downtown, very friendly crew. We were participated in sails set up and then enjoyed "engine noise free" ride with glass of wine.

The crew was personable and professional and answered any questions we had. The vessel was beautiful and the skyline of Boston was amazing.

Would have given 5/5 but didn't receive confirmation email. I did speak on the phone with a very polite and apologetic new recruit that took responsibility for their error. The actual sailing was fun as the ship crew engage with visitors to assist with hoisting the sails. Afterwards raising the sails crew members interacted with visitors and there was a... More

As a long time sailor I fell right into the routine of life aboard the Liberty Clipper. The one week cruise thru the Bahamas was well organized by the Captain Gil and his crew so that each days plan was appropriate for the weather, wind and sea conditions. The crew worked hard to get us ashore for snorkeling, beach combing... More

Wonderful time. I was last here 20 years ago, threw the tea overboard etc. today full of technology, the young people who acted out the role of storytelling were absolutely fantastic. So confident and excited. I loved the last part when Edward and Sam adams had their discussion. Total surprise when the faces moved and talked. A definite must see.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
