VIP Lounge/Foundation Room worth the extra $20 when it's February, 25 degrees and rain/snowing! We already had tickets for the First Aid Kit show - I had not idea about this "VIP Lounge" option. After having stepped in the deepest/coldest puddle while getting into our...More

First time here. Doesn’t seem to be a bad “seat” in the house. Three floors. First two standing room only with seating on the third floor. Standing room gives you plenty of space to move around. Plenty of bar space. Also felt very comfortable with...More

The House of Blues is a great place in Boston for a concert--not a bad spot in the house. We saw Guster there on 1/13/18 (they were top-notch as always). There are plenty of bars. We always eat first at the Foundation Room, which gives...More

I had never been to the House of Blues Boston and was surprised at how small the bar/restaurant area was. There was a long line into the show and it was freezing outside plus if you ate in the bar/restaurant you could go in through...More

I attended 3 straight nights of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones Hometown Throwdown at the House of Blues. I had floor tickets for all three nights. The floor is standing room only which was fine for me. Nights 2 and 3 my pregnant wife (8 months...More

We (sister, fiance, myself), were at the House of Blues for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones Hometown Throwdown. The venue is pretty awesome, with three stories and plenty of space. The show rocked, the beer was cold, and the staff expertly professional. Great time!!!

I saw JRAD last month on both Friday and Saturday night. Friday night we had dinner at the HOB before the show. My Pulled Pork was not hot, but otherwise OK. My friend said his burger was only ok, but his burger bun had been...More

On our first night in Boston we decided to head here for food. I expected the place to be out the door as a Red Sox game was on, it was busy but we got seated right away. Staff were really friendly too. We both...More

Visited the bar before a concert. Impressed to see live feed of the warmup band on a screen so we could know when to check in for the main event. Bar servers were disinterested and would have ignored us sitting at the bar if we...More

The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but
loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this
home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find

Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located

As far as what I was able to surmise, is if you pay the $20 to get into the Foundation Room/VIP Area - yes. Instead of having to line up for the doors to open, say at 7:00pm, we were able to get in at 6:00pm. However, the... More

Casual for sure! If you are seeing a show I suggest flats as it’s standing room only.

General admission tickets are standing...so comfortable shoes. No dress code that I'm aware of. Visit venue site for details on parking and pocketbooks.
