Fantastic metaphysical section, but offers other books as well. Charming location, was owned by Elizabeth Peabody in the mid eighteen hundreds, she published Emerson at the time, one of the first female book publishers in the US at that time. Great atmosphere, nice staff.

Went to Brattle books after breaking my kindle! Huge selection of books inside and racks of bargain books outside from 1 dollar. Really helpful staff too. Will be back

Wonderful to be in a classic used, rare book and antiquarian bookshop. Found several volumes to add to my collection. Had the privilege of meeting owner who I have seen several times on Antique Roadshow!

Very nice secondhand book store: they have lots of bookcases outside to browse on a nice day. Prices range from 1 to 5 dollar and you can leave the books for a later pick up.
