Found Jacques by chance while staying at the Hotel Revere next door. Dropped in for a pre dinner drink. The decor is out of the past when gay bars were the prime home for gays before todays more open acceptance. Love the old nostalgic interior...More

I went here as part of Bridal Shower. But it's not my cup of tea. The place was too smoky, dark and dim.

I love a good drag show. This night was almost like an "open mic night"....which was a little bit weird. There were a few performers who were non-drag performers, which was a little off, especially when I paid a $7 cover charge for the drag...More

After dinner Sunday night in Boston, my boyfriend and I decided to check out Jacques and catch the Sassy Sundays drag show. My boyfriend remarked that Jacques reminded him of what drag bars used to be in NYC before they became more mainstream. There's a...More

Places like this probably won't be around in Boston forever, so go check it out. The staff is super friendly, fun fun shows, and a a generally great crowd. Go there and support them!

My friends and I went to Jacques for the New Year's Eve party that the bar was hosting. It was a blast, and was a huge bargain. For the 15 dollar cover we got front row seats to the drag show, a personal bottle of...More

Having been to Drag shows in NYC, this one was a huge disappointment! The performers were all about collecting the dollar bills instead of putting on a show.
