I thought it was pretty awesome to be behind the scenes at the Wang Theatre! I love theatre so I’m biased, however movie buffs may enjoy as well since scenes from Ghostbusters, Witches of Eastwick, and American Hustle were all filmed there. Designated as a...More

The Wang is lovely. It's in the heart of the Boston Theatre District and the architecture is beautiful. They have some special events which will give you a chance to really admire the building itself apart from the huge throngs that are present for regular...More

It's now the Boch Center-Wang Theatre. Beautiful venue, it's the tight seats for width and leg room that are an issue. Can get uncomfortable as the performance goes along. Parking prices vary, so investigate before driving in. Ticket service fees really add to the total...More

Saw the Alvin Ailey Dance Company perform. Wonderful show. Have seen several shows at the Wang over the past decades. It has always been a gorgeous theater and it doesn't disappoint today. The seats however are disappointing. They are new seats. The sitting surface is...More

Once you have read a few reviews you'll notice some recurring themes all of which have validity. On the plus side this is one of the most beautiful theatres you could chose to see a show at--the architecture, sculptures, paintings, all coalesce into an exceptional...More

I went for dancing with the stars live in January and we were part of the first group to sit in the new seats! We were so comfortable and the view was great. Such a beautiful place to see a show or concert!

Never again even for free. Very uncomfortable seats (I am average person, size 10), not enough air, rails are on the way from all view angles (yes, I checked, because after intermission there were a lot of empty seats all around). Organization of entering was...More

My wife and I went to the Wang Theater for a performance of Shen Yun. The ushers took care of the security screening in the entry way before the doors opened, This facilitated entry quite a bit. The beautiful interior obviously has fairly recently been...More

The place is beautiful, but the people who run it don't have a clue. Went and saw Louis CK last night. He was great but the staff there almost ruined the night. The place is huge (3500 seats) but there is only one way to...More

October 2016 we went to see "An American in Paris". It did not disappoint. Neither did the Wang Theatre. I'd never attended this beautiful old place. It's worth a visit just to breathe in the 1920s architecture and atmosphere. It's expensive to see a Broadway...More

Agree with other comments. Go early and use the Tufts Medical Center parking garage. Reasonably priced.
