Amazing view of the South Boston section of the City! a hidden gem. You cant go up in the tower anymore but its a nice view from the Hill! Good picnic spot in the warmer months!

Very interesting location with views of Boston from all angles. Simple small park with trees surrounding the monument. Plaques describe the actions which took place here - the Fortification of Dorchester Heights. Worth visiting if nearby.

We had a rental car and visited around 6pm....parking is certainly interesting in the neighborhood.....double parking, one ways...a bit confusing but lucky the phone app got us there. A stop for history buffs...hard to believe all that went on without modern conveniences.....had to use ox...More
