Normally a small, general admission (read: no seating) music venue, it doesn't serve well as a comedy venue because of poor setup. Small, uncomfortable chairs were crammed into the entire venue, and you were shoulder-to-shoulder with either smelly hippies or some hipster who can't help...More

The Orange Peel is a good small concert venue. Capacity of around 1,000 people. Generally a standing only venue. Very busy calendar, often with popular alternative acts. The layout is a little more wide than deep. It's hard to be very far from the stage...More

Went to see the Old 97's here on June 21, 2017. Excellent show!! Very roomy for a small venue. A lot of good bands come here on a regular basis. This was the second time I seen the Old 97's here. The staff is friendly...More

What can I say. I'm 68 years old and went here for the Abbey Road Live Sgt Pepper Tour. Big mistake. Just a small standing-room only room with a stage, lots and lots of speakers and blinding stage lights. Be sure to take migraine medicine....More

My wife and I saw Blues Traveler here and had a blast. It was my first time going to a show at the Orange Peel, but I would definitely go back again. The size of the venue was ideal...not too small and not too large....More

Most shows have no seats so be prepared to stand...which we do anyways at most shows. However, it would be nice to have a choice to sit or stand as a lot of the shows have a mixed audience from 21 to 81. Lots of...More

We came into town specifically to see a special show (Jump, Little Children) and I enjoyed this venue much more than most other general admission venues I have been to. Large and well kept women's room. Bar stools available around the edges of the room...More

This place has a great feel... old warehouse without being too grungy, and the acoustics are great for every kind of show I've attended here!

This is my second visit to the Orange Peel. I was thankful that seating was available this time. The bathrooms were kept clean which is always surprising when you have that many people in one place. We enjoyed our time. Parking is limited. We are...More

If there's a show, that's not an option. The bar is on edge of concert viewing area.

Reasonable. Mostly local micro brews. $3.50-$6. Bar is called pulp and is in basement. Typical Asheville prices. Good, energized live music venue
