Loved the welded fences. Walking in and out of studios was great. Lots of walking as studios are not close to each other.

It was fun to see the variey of talent on display. There is enough variety to entertain most people. Wear good walking shoes!

This is a fun area, best explored on foot, with lots of monuments, and art pieces. There are also lots of eclectic shops and restaurants. Wroth spending a few hours exploring.

We mostly spent time shopping (Mast General Store, Tops Shoes), but did walk the streets. I was impressed by the large numbers of very young people. Worth spending some time there!

Be sure to stop in the New Morning Gallery and Bellagio's in the BIltmore Village. Beautiful handmade items including clothing, jewelry, pottery, furniture, etc.

We had one evening to explore and we parked and walked the historic district the entire evening. We fell in love with this little city and plan to come back to do much more exploring when we have more time.

Hmmmm....I'd say possibly, but this really isn't a classic Southern city in my experience. There certainly is charm and history, particularly around the Biltmore area, if that's of interest to you. I've lived in the... More
