They moved since my last visit...not the same.

Kava wasn't as good - ambiance gone - unfortunately, I wouldn't go back. Very disappointed - really liked that place in the old location...

Kava wasn't as good - ambiance gone - unfortunately, I wouldn't go back. Very disappointed - really liked that place in the old location...

The town is wonderful and the bar is cool but the kava is not good. I really like the town and the people but it seems the attention to product quality is lacking at this bar.

Until the TV show "Survivor" no one ever heard about Vanuatu. I lived there for two years in the 1980's. Kava was part of a ritual greeting when you visited a village. You would drink with your new friends, family, chiefs and village. It was a very relaxing, mellow feeling after drinking one cup (coconut shell). I tried the powdered... More
