Downtown Asheville has all sorts of great shops and galleries to visit. I love the galleries, and they range from fine art to pop art. The old Woolworths features local artists arranged in small stalls. Very entertaining as part of the greater downtown stroll.

We wondered in to get out of the cold, and boy were we glad we did! It was very warm, and lots of room to walk around. Lots of art and crafts, prices were what you would think they would be. Let's face it, if...More

One of our favorite places to visit in Asheville. Never disappoints as a unique place to find a gift or just enjoy a look around. The staff at the desk are always eager to answer questions and are knowledgeable about each artist.

Asheville is a great place for arts and crafts and there are a lot of them in Woolworth's. A snack bar in the old soda fountain adds some nice ambiance (and cooking odors).

What a perfect way to repurpose retail space. From affordable prints from a variety of genres to exquisite paintings, pottery, and more. Take your time and check out every unique piece of art before you decide what you need to take home!

I love all the great art for sale here. Its like visiting 40 different art galleries without the artist hovering over you. Plan to visit often and see what new things the artists have.

Kinda querky spot with a variety of artists displaying their talents. Not too impressed and I would not recommend it as a must see.
