    Best Pedi, thanks Heather L!!!
We had a girls’ spa day at the Omni. Loved all the amenities!!! The indoor pools play music under water and it’s so relaxing being surrounding by natural rock and waterfalls. They also have a polar plunge pool, hot tubs, and saunas. I would highly recommend getting a pedicure with Heather L. She was warm and professional. The service included a gingerbread scrub, paraffin dip, and hot stone massage, and it was the best pedicure I’ve ever had!!!

Rest, Relax, Recharge- Blissful day at GPI Spa
Spa at Grove Park Inn has become synonymous with must visit in the category, reservations are strongly encouraged for treatments at the time of accomedation bookings and if this falls to a weekend/holiday, 3+ months in advance are high suggested. I've visited in the past and had outstanding treeatments, the menu of services continues to evolve and refresh, to now include meditation pods to compliment traditonal massage services. The facilitates are as incredible as the folklore that has built up over the years. Staying on property but interested in simply aquiring a "day pass" VERY limited available eavh weekday, property guests only. If you r lucky enough to secure a day pass, you've likely requested at the time of you reserved your room and dependent on the day and time of yeat, "luck" being the operative word A day pass will sert you back $200pp /per day, + tax and gratiuity for a grand total of $244pp. Worth it, this reviewer has never regreted or felt it wasnt money wells spent if you have 4-6 hours to dedicate to relaxing in the mutiple mineral pools, hot tubs, water features, sauna's, cold/hot plundge pools, and the overall estitect that only GPI Spa brings, staff is top notch, mention to Aaron who I had the pleasure of seeing this past week, plush robes and towels, slippers and cold towls, teas and flavored waters as well as mens/womens areas, relaxation areas lend to a day fo recharging and tuning out thw world for a few hours. Strict zero tolerance policy on an any electronics, so grab a book, magazine , leave your cell/tablet in your room, I cant tell you that last time I unplugged 100% for email /screenlife it felt amazing.

I booked a mountain honey pedicure with Mary and it was relaxing and rejuvenating. I had an amazing spa day. The spa facilities are incredible! All of the pools are so refreshing and I especially loved the saunas and the steam rooms. A great day of self care.

    Blissful Spa Experience
Was lucky enough to spend a half day at the Grove Park Spa and had a heavenly experience. My spa concierge, Melanie F., showed me around the spa and was very knowledgeable about all the spa offerings. She made sure I was comfortable from the get go. Mary was my massage therapist for the Head in the Clouds massage and it was so relaxing I fell asleep a few times during it. My body felt like butter after that in addition to the hot tubs, plunge pool, sauna and steam rooms. The only complaint I had is that there were absolutely no lounge chairs to lay in from the time I got there, until 4pm, as people were holding them for hours on end with towels and personal items. The spa could do a better job of informing ppl that they can’t hold chairs while they get a massage. This way, every paying customer would get a chance to lay down. Other than that, the spa was wonderful as always!

See Michelle for the best pedicure of your life
I had the Mountain Honey Pedicure with Michelle. This was the best pedicure I have ever had. Michelle is highly knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Her service includes foot-reflexology massage, very luxurious, and makes you feel refreshed all over, especially considering the walking involved with sightseeing in the area. I would highly recommend Michelle, and this marvelous first-class spa.

We've stayed at this hotel twice before, and both times, I enjoyed day passes to the spa. Not long ago, the pass was $110. It is now $244!!

Omg. This is a nice spa, but this is highway robbery! I will not be paying that much to swim! I'm so glad I had the chance to enjoy it in years past.

The spa is a big reason why we've returned to the Omni Grove. Next time we visit Asheville, I expect we'll reserve elsewhere.

We attended this spa with a day pass (no treatments) 9 years ago, and it was a very nice facility. It is unfortunate that so many amenities are in the locker room, as this exposes Omni to a slew of gender-related discrimination issues.

We just spent another weekend at the resort and were dismayed with the new draconian electronics rules and enormous fee increases for spa pool access. The ban on e-readers did it for me, and we opted not to attend the spa. There is absolutely _no_ basis for this ban when paper books are allowed.

The problem with the Grove Park resort, as a whole, is even more intensified with the new day pass fees (more than 3X what they were 9 years ago): everything has an upcharge on this property. In the summer I expect to be able to attend a resort that has a nicer pool than, say, a Hampton Inn by the interstate. Not so at Grove Park. You either pay a spa fee that amounts to nearly the price of the room, or you shuttle to a nearby so-so country club with one of the most boring pools I've ever seen.

While my idea of a luxury relaxation experience isn't exactly in line with a hushed, touchy spa centered around couples, the Grove Park should offer something for people like me who just want a nice getaway. We will be looking elsewhere for our next vacation.

Extremely poor customer service and refund policy.

I missed my appointment due to having the wrong date calendared (the spa does not provide any reminder service and my booking email from several weeks prior did not go to my general mailbox). I would understand needing to pay some percentage of the treatment cost due to the missed appointment, but I was charged the full cost plus an additional 22%, with no option to apply to cost towards a future visit.

I was not verbally informed of their lack of refund policy when booking and even in the booking email (which went to my spam and was the only official contact I received from the spa), it does not explicitly state that the FULL treatment cost PLUS an additional 22% service fee would be charged if I was unable to attend my appointment.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Institute some form of reminder service if you're going to try to enforce such predatory policies.

I have been to the grove park several times. The facility and rooms are still outstanding at 4 star levels. The service has declined and is a two star property. I would not use the conciere to book any restaurants, they have low quality lists. Our room key had to be changed out twice and it did not work for parking. Things happen but when we complained , no one cared or responded. Like what you would expect at a 2 star property. The omni property in amelia island is run much better. Hope they can fix Grove park.
