This was an excellent tour filled with a short history lesson about Asheville, and lightly garnished with some funny (some not very funny) jokes from a great guide named Patty. Oh yea and the food was excellent. I'm from New Orleans and I know good food. Asheville is creating something really unique in the food industry and it's awesome. My... More

The Asheville Food is a must do while visiting Asheville. Where else can you learn about the history of Asheville while at the same time get a tasting of Asheville's variety of food cuisine. We went on the Sunday tour hosted by Stu Helm, Asheville's famous food critic. Stu was a great host. He is very friendly and he knows... More

Our Saturday brunch tour with Stu was amazing! Definitely our favorite thing we did while we were in Asheville. Stu was extremely knowledgeable about downtown Asheville and made the tour such a wonderful experience. We stopped at 5 different restaurants as well as 3 sweet stops. We got to taste so many different foods, and it was great becasue they... More

We were thrilled to take this tour with our 2 teenage boys. What a great time wandering around Asheville with Paddy and the others in our group learning some history and current facts about the area and restaurants. I would highly recommend this to anyone coming into the area.

Paddy was an excellent guide! We learned a lot of historical & architectural info while walking around downtown. We have done several food tours in different cities, and have never had this much food. You will NOT leave hungry! :-) everything was delicious. We highly recommend this tour! Places we visited: Modesto - Italian with red wine Chocolate Fetish -... More

Thank you to Casey for the amazing, entertaining and educational food tour last Wednesday. We started out on a gusty, cold winter afternoon walking Asheville and tasting food from some of the most obscure restaurants. Each was delightful, but Zambra Wine and Tapas was my absolute favorite. Casey stopped along the way to give us some history and entertained us... More

We wish we would have done this food tour the first day of our visit instead of the last! Patty did a great job in leading us around downtown, providing us history of Asheville and taking us to 8 different locations to try the food and beer. It was well worth the cost. We were pleasantly surprised with all the... More

We did the Friday Food Tour. It was so much better than I expected. The Food was great and the tour was fabulous. Being visitors, we never would've learned so much about Asheville or found those great spots on our own. We would definitely do another tour.

Patty was lots of fun! If you go to The Black Bird on the Food Tour, consider trying the rum balls while you are there. So good! The only thing I would change would be to have shorter distances to walk or time the restaurant stops so you walk downhill most of the time. This would be helpful for Seniors... More
