Took the two mile hike down to the stream on well maintained trails. Enjoyed the bonsai garden. Children would love the model railroad.

The bonsai display is unbelievable and worth the visit. The walking paths meandering around the gardens can be walked at your own pace. The restaurant offers delicious snacks or a light meal. Hoping to return soon. The membership is well worth the cost.

We were pleased to see quite a few varieties of plants and flowers, as well as a very interesting bonsai exhibit. Their exhibit of the monarch butterfly was also quite interesting. Recommended stop as you come off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

After one hike here-we bought a membership. Now it is we can decide how strenuous we want to hike in an every changing out door environment. When we are done a nice restaurant and shops!

Thanks for reaching out and we look forward to having you! All facilities will be open in April (including the Baker Exhibit Center). Most hiking trails are dirt/gravel and the gardens are wheelchair accessible.
