I would highly recommend visiting here. However, I think I would wait until late April in an attempt to catch the spring bloom better. Nice relaxing trails to walk along. They do have a lot of beautiful gardens areas too. While there don't forget to...More

Would not recommend this attraction. Only a few light displays. Nice but somewhat disappointing. Website says all tickets must be purchased in advance; however, there were people buying tickets onsite. Wished I had known this-as online tickets sales charged an additional $4 per ticket in...More

The Winter Light display was spectacular! I took my elderly parents (using a wheelchair for my mom) and they loved it. Their adjectives were fantastic, amazing, classy. The wheelchair accessibility was great and easy for my father to push her through the minor slopes. I...More

Worth the evening visit for kids young and old. Very entertaining, live music at the Bistro - Chicken Coup Willaye. The lights themselves are amazing.cant imagine the man-hours involved to set up such a beautiful display. And the model train exhibit was pretty cool too.

We took the kids here during our visit and loved it. They had a special exhibit on Deadly Plants, which was so interesting. The kids really enjoyed the butterfly house. We wandered down the different trails and they even let you check out kits for...More

This is always on my list when I tell people what they need to see in Asheville! In the Fall the trails are magical as the trees create a canopy above you, in the spring the Azaleas are beautiful!

When you're visiting Asheville you have just got to stop by this place. Exhibits change with the season. Very well maintained grounds with a professional staff and a "hats off" to all the volunteers. The kids love to see the miniture trains. They do serve...More

The grounds are wonderfully kept and the bonsai garden is beautiful. Harmonious atmosphere and a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. Make sure you see the 12 foot Indian statue.

Very convenient access from the Blue ridge Parkway. Beautiful setting with well-groomed trails. Fantastic bonzai garden. Lunch at the visitor center was mediocre.

My wife and I love this place we visit most exhibits and attend concerts as well. We also take our grandson and grown children. The gardens are interesting and beautiful during the spring and summer. My grandson loves the large play train. Lots of fun!!

I don't know, but someone at the arboretum can answer your question: either at the entry booth or in the Visitor Center.
