    Friendly staff, great fruit!
We stopped here for our first time after an afternoon in the Everglades. There were so many options for fruit, but one of the workers showed us some good fruits that were fresh and in season, and she even sliced them for us so that we could eat on the go! We had a mango, star apple, and yellow dragonfruit. Everything was delicious!

    Quirky Little Roadside Attraction!
We loved Robert is Here we stopped twice, both on our way to and from the Keys! Our first stop we stayed for a while. We bought milkshakes, key lime tarts and Cuban sandwiches for lunch. Everything was incredible. We ate outside near the animals and got our first taste of the roosters roaming around, plus all of the quirky animals in the petting zoo. On our way back to Miami, we stopped again, although this time just a quick stop to shop. We bought banana bread to take home, plus key lime tarts and milkshakes. This is a fun, quirky roadside attraction that I'd definitely recommend if you're making the drive from Miami to the Keys.

Good Place to Stretch Your Legs
If you are in the general area (likely on your way to/from the Keys), this is a good place to stop to stretch your legs and look around. Plenty of produce available to buy, although very very pricey. There are lots of animals to look at and feed, if you wish. It's a very popular place so be prepared for crowds of people. There is minimal parking available, so you may need to park along the road.

    Cool stop
After visiting the Coral Castle, we went to Robert is Here, a roadside fruit stand on steroids. There is fruit (whole or cut up by staff) as well as a small farm of barnyard and exotic animals (llamas, emus, etc.) and live music. Great concept of buying fruit and having it cut up for you (take home in a plastic bag - ready to eat). Staff is usually friendly and knowledgeable. They also have an extensive (mostly fruit) milkshake and smoothie kiosk (we had to wait nearly a half an hour to stand in line). Mmmm - delicious. You can enjoy your smoothies/shakes and listen to some folk music outside. Plenty of chairs and tables available. Nice road trip stop on your drive to the Keys.

    Must see at least once.
Just a few minutes out of the way while returning from the Keys. Interesting and unique fruit stand and animal collection . The animals looked well cared for . Very interesting and different fruits not seen at ordinary fruit store. Smoothies and shakes as well. Top price for everything but worth the visit just to see this unusual place.

    Fun road stop
Fun stop on the way down to the Keys! It gives you the opportunity to try lots of different tropical fruits. We tried mamey which tasted like pumpkin pie filling. Delicious! We also tried sapodilla, which tasted of pear and brown sugar. Staff are very friendly and helpful, explaining what things taste of and how to determine they are ripe. They had boiled peanuts, which we've come to love in our travels in the south. And they are famous for their smoothies and milk shakes, which can be customized. I also tried sugar cane juice for the first time. There's a area with picnic tables, and animals to view. They also have sandwiches if you are wanting more of a full meal. There's also a little grocery section, with loads of local preserves, mustards and pickles for sale.

    Unique place!!
We love this place. The milkshakes are amazing and the animals are fun to feed. We got two huge heads of lettuce for $5 and the cows and goats were so excited!! The market is very interesting. There are fruits I had never seen before! Worth the visit

    More Than I Expected
I was not sure what the hype was about this place but we stopped on our way out of Everglades. We did try a milkshake and it was very good. Since we were traveling, we did not buy the fruit. I had not read the reviews here so I was surprised to see all the birds and animals here. Interesting combination with a fruit stand! This is a good stop for some fun photos for sure!

Pretty good smoothies but a bit overpriced
This was a pretty good place to stop before checking into our hotel at homestead. We got a few smoothies which we thought were a bit overpriced but were pretty good. They did have a lot of animals that our 10 year old kid enjoyed looking at. All in all, even though it’s a bit overpriced, it is still one of the only places to grab a smoothie in the area.

    Must stop place
This stand has an excellent selection of tropical fruit! Robert helped us pick out ripe fruit and even cut them up for us. You can tell he really enjoys fruit and helping people. We tried one of everything that was ripe. They also sell milk shakes with the tropical fruit. We picked three to put in ours, yummy! A must stop place to try a variety of fruit!

Stopped here on our way from Miami to Key West. Immediately greeted by a man who turned out to be “the Robert”! He cut up our fruit and recommended his favorite smoothie which was promptly delivered to us as we were checking out (banana, soparilla and toasted coconut). This is a cool place to meander about. Lots of cool food options and fresh flowers. There are animals to feed out back (ostrich, tortoise, goat, cow, salamanders and I don’t even know). There’s a Mexican food truck serving up delicious quesadillas. AND THE GUACAMOLE WAS THE INCREDIBLE!!

This was such a joy. The produce looks so good and there is even a makeshift zoo in the back with tons of different animals cohabitating. I wished I lived in the area so I could enjoy going there to get fresh fruit and other produce. We got a delicious coconut banana smoothie on our way out. What a great stop!

We were listening to a road trip app and he suggested checking out Robert is Here. The fruits and vegetables were amazing. So many local products. The smoothies! The animals out back! Goats, cows, chickens, roosters, iguanas, and the turtles!! so glad we stopped on our way to Miami from the Keys. It was started by Robert when he was a boy (selling cucumbers by the side of the road) - he's in his 80's now.
