This trail is in the campground 18. You can park your car and walk around. The trail is first in some swampy land you are walking on bridges before you head into the warm sun on a hill. It was just too hot to walk...More

This is an easy, short hike but gives you great elevation for watching the sunset. We could see across to Boquillas behind us and the sunset in front.

This was an easy hike and easy climb for the views. But really worth it if you are in that part of the park. I wouldn't go there just for that though. The view of the Rio Grande from here is beautiful.

This trail starts from the Rio Grande Village Campground, site #18 (which was not easy to find). The short trail is a 0.75 mi/1.2 km loop and goes through a wetland, river, and limestone hill. We did this trail on a Tuesday afternoon in April....More

Beautiful hike! Easy enough to do with kids and gorgeous views at the top. There's another little offshoot to the hike you can take to go down to the river too.

We ended up on this trail by chance as we were in the area to see Boquillas Canyon - the park ranger at Panther Junction recommended we stop by and wail this trail and I'm glad we did. It's a short trail but I was...More
