We arrived to find everything closed (except the gas pumps thankfully!) due to lack of water. Evidently a 'project" is underway and is past the scheduled completion date. Good thing we were not looking to camp here!

On our drive to the east side of the park, we encountered the Rio Grande Village area. This is the best camping place in Big Bend hands down!!! Green grass! Cool waters!! Nice folks! Really beautiful area!
