Stop here on your way to Bandelier - you won't be disappointed! Beautiful panoramas and views of the Rio Grande. There's even a waterfall. Hold onto small children - no railings on the (short and wide) path.

Every stop around here legal to stop there's a great view to enjoy and behold. Imagining walking down through there in yucca fibre sandal's does not sound very fun.

Nice little overlook platform with a fantastic long distance view of the Rio Grande river gorge. The park is at the far edge of a residential neighborhood, so you wonder if you are going the right way. Once there, there's also a 2nd canyon with...More

Overlook is a spot you won't want to have missed. It seems impossible that it is just at the end of a road past some baseball fields in residential White Rock. The scenic view is at least 270 degrees as you stand observing the mountains,...More

This gem is tucked away behind a residential area near Los Alamos. It's easy to get to and worth a detour. You can see for miles, and with the Rio Grande below and snow-capped peaks in the distance, it's hard to beat the view. One...More

This is a great spot to get a panoramic view of the country north of Santa Fe. The Rio Grande runs down below and the mountains near Taos are in the background. Take a lunch, enjoy the view!

Anywhere else, this would be a national park. What a view! Definitely worth seeking out. Several trails go in and out of the canyon. We did Red Dot-Blue Dot and it was one of my favorite trails ever.

A wonderful place to stop and see the Rio Grande. Views are amazing! Five minuted drive from the highway in White Rock.

Considering you drive through a residential neighborhood to get to Overlook Park you'd never expect the amazing views that you get. There is a small parking lot & then a very short walk to amazing views! It's definitely worth the stop.

I don't think so. From what I remember, we saw so much, it was a small area like a local park with just a path overlooking the scenery. I would look at the Los Alamos visitor website which Trip Advisor won't let be type in... More
