I am a mountain bike novice. After renting a bike we went to the Brand Trails to get some expereince before heading to DeadHorse State Park. I would suggest spending an hour here for other novices especially since it is on the way to Dead Horse.

Unbeknownst to us, the road we took through the Onion Creek is intended for serious off-roading vehicles like jeeps and other high clearance trucks. We decided to attempt it in our AWD Infiniti QX50. The trail crosses the creek 23 times on its way to the top. It is muddy, narrow, and has steep grades and blind curves, and high bluffs where the creek has worn away the rock formations. All that scary stuff said, the scenery is spectacular and well worth the time. Do NOT attempt this back country trail if its raining or if heights give you the creeps.

These are supposed to be the easiest of the Mountain Biking Trails. As a total newbie, I found even the easiest (Rusty) to be challenging. A group of 5 rented bikes and took the shuttle, started for Lazy/EZ but that seemed too rocky and narrow for a total beginner. 2 of the group did that trail and loved it, the others went to Rusty. The ride back to Moab was the best part.

We rode the Moab Brand trails as a family with several different levels of experience. Out of all of the trails that we did in Moab, we all loved EX Lazy - you can challenge yourself and make it harder but a novice can feel very comfortable on it too. My husband and son went to Sidewinder and shared that it was incredibly fun. There was one part that had a steep cliff on the side that would have made me nervous! The ride back up from sidewinder on the bike path was tough after a long day of riding. We will definitely be back to Moab Brand trails and try out a few more on our next trip.

Rode the Moab trails with my family over Spring Break. While I'm an avid rider none of my family has any real experience. We were able to find plenty of trails for beginners and had a ton of fun. We were also able to find some more advanced trails that I was able to do on my own while the family rested and had a snack. The ride back to town is long (nearly 8 miles) but is mostly downhill and paved. We would definitely recommend this as a fun activity in Moab and we are already planning a return trip to go ride more of the trail system.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this hike. I do not like snow and prefer beaches anyday. It was my first time doing a Winter hike..The air was clean and only a few other hikers. It was relaxing and peaceful . I would def go on another Winter hike .

This area has a number of mountain bike trails of different standards. We went on the easy loops which took us through some amazing scenery with views across to Arches. Some of these were single track and across bare rock. A most enjoyable day spent there

This is a beautiful spot to bike. I was hoping to make it to Dead Horse State Park to bike but turns out my kids were too novice for that place.... so we hit the beginner trails here and it was VERY fun, a bit challenging for them and still gorgeous.

We rented a bike and got a ride to the trails. We did get a little lost and ended up on a tricky trail but we did ok. It was a great place for a newbie mountain biker. We then road the 8 miles back to Moab which was fun as it is prettty much all downhill. Make sure your brakes are good though! the bike trail is amazing going back to Moab.
