On our trip to Sorrel River Ranch, after skydiving as a family at Skydive Moab (separate review on this site-amazing) we drove to Corona Arch which was recommended to us by the staff at Sorrel River Ranch. It is not in Arches Monument, which saves...More

I was a bit concerned about doing this hike, as I am afraid of heights, but I had no problems on this hike. There is a ladder and some very slanted areas where you hike, so be sure to wear good boots. It was a...More

On the advice of a couple we met on a trail in PA we drove out to the Corona-Bow Tie trailhead. It was a great trail about 1.5 miles long. Includes a short cable and ladder climb to a great view. Dogs are welcome. Make...More

This was a challenging hike but worth the effort. The views are amazing and the arches incredibly photogenic. At 70 years old, some of this type of experience are beyond my capabilities, so this type of hike was perfect! Even the short drive into the...More

Beautiful moderate hike that won't feel like a freeway at rush hour. The arch is HUGE! Worth the stop.

This is a great hike that you can do easily from Moab without going into Arches National Park. The drive down Potash Road beside the Colorado River passes Indian paintings and the car park for Corona Arch is large. Take insect repellent though because there...More

Yes, it's paved. The trailhead parking lot is dirt, but it's right off the road which is paved. It's a really easy drive from downtown Moab or from Arches NP.
