Enjoyed a wonderful trip on the Colorado River doing the Fisher Towers float with one other family. The views were spectacular, and the small rapids were fun and not intimidating. If you're looking for a casual, easy day on the river, this is it.

There are two portable "buckets" with a toilet seat. If you need to urinate, you can always jump in the river, or, use the "pee bucket". Pee is poured into the river later, so no toilet paper can go in that bucket. There is also another bucket, for feces. It is hard to keep the two separate, but a bit of pee in the second bucket isn't the end of the world. Toilet paper can go into that bucket as can feminine products. This is called the "groover" because apparently in the old days there was no toilet seat so people got "grooves" on their behinds from sitting on it. It is set up a bit of a walk away from the campsite, so it is quite private. No smell comes from it to the campsite and you have full privacy while using it. An umbrella is often set up to shield it for more privacy, too.
