This is a must do drive you come to Moab, and a drive that you just take your time pull over often and look around everywhere. The rains had just stopped and we had a fresh powder of snow in the upper elevations, and the...More

Views of the mountain above and the rocks and ridges all around you. An incredibly beautiful drive. Make the full loop and turn left at the Colorado River for a really nice drive back into town. Pack a picnic, drive slow, pull off often and...More

We took this drive at the recommendation of a local person. I must say, it was better than the national parks in our opinion. It follows the Colorado River. Excellent scenery. Then you go into the mountains. Not a road or RV use. There are...More

Can I give this drive ten stars? We started on the Castle Valley end. The entire trip, except for the last ten miles was so beautiful. Spectacular views. Yes, there are hairpin turns, no guardrail. I'm somewhat afraid of heights, but this was not a...More

I suspect this is not as well known as Arches and Dead horse national parks but well worth the 70 mile loop drive through forests and beautiful scenery. The entrance is the first exit North of Moab I128 that skirts the Colorado river, after approx...More

Recommended by our receptionist at the motel and 3 hours to spare. We set off on the 60 mile round trip vit starts by the Colorado river. It winds slowly up past view points along the edge of the Arches park. Passes a winery with...More

We read about this drive in a brochure. The Visitor's Center told us where to go, so we went for it. It is a beautiful drive. The fall colors were outstanding and the views were breathtaking. The road is narrow and not in good condition....More

You leave Castle Valley and head up toward the La Sal mountain. The road twists and turns offering great scenery and plenty of places to pull off and look to the north. We were there in late September and the colors were already vivid and...More

Take your own ATV and have a blast. Many trails to explore and things to see. Wildlife is abundant and the landscape is beautiful in the extreme.

This was a beautiful drive. We got off track somewhere on a dirt trail and it took us a while to find a paved road, but we intentionally started on the dirt road. Explore them. It's beautiful!

Hi. Sorry can't tell you, as we only drive thru. Mapmaterial isn't too good. We even got lost due to various roads not marked on map. And we always orient ourselves by map and don't rely on GPS. Maybe best to check with Moab... More
