Little visited trail, a bit different from the other hikes in the park

I've been to Arches a bunch of times, but it wasn't until 2016 I discovered the Klondike Bluffs Trail. Getting there involves a 7 mile drive on an paved road, which due to the time of year I went (December), was totally empty. It seemed to be a pretty good road, but I was glad I didn't have to test... The earliest visit of the 3 times I've been to Moab. And the busiest. Weekends were more crowded than we were used to, but only on the easier, more accessible trails. We tended to hit the more obscure, Porcupine Rim, Cache Valley, Dome Plateau, Pole Canyon, even Onion Creek was empty. Klondike Bluffs is scenic & has a few side... More

We were a mixed group, and stayed together on the ride up Jurassic>Jasper>Midline (good, but not great). Then split into two groups to come back along Dino Flow and EKG. Both groups were convinced we took the best route back. We need more thumbs to give those two trails the review they deserve.

So fun! You can make this a moderate to easier bike ride depending on which direction and how far you go. But it has the potential to challenge the best of us if you take it a little faster and off the normal track. But don't miss the many dinosaur footprints!!! I killed two birds with one stone on this... More

Took this trail and had a lot of fun seeing the Arches formations from a different view. Must have a 4x4 and take it slow at times. The road is graded but flash floods take its toll on this trail. Can't wait to go back and explore some more.

We took the NavTec Arches jeep tour to the Klondike Bluffs following this trail. You have amazing views that most visitors to Arches do not get.

I have mountain biked this trail multiple times over the past ten years. The view at the end is worth the trip every time. This trail is a good for beginners because it isn't very technical.

We took our 11 year old daughter and did the Klondike Bluffs trail. She cried for the 1st hour because she had never been off road. Once we got to the slickrock it was awesome! Great workout and our daughter really enjoyed herself..one more step toward GIRL POWER!

We made a very bad decision to go the Moab during Memorial Day during a holiday and obviously couldn't find a camp site. Klondike ended up having a couple great ones for us! You can hike from your camp site over to the Bluff Trail which is beautiful and not too strenuous of a hike.
