We booked an all-day reservation for novice mountain bikers. We enjoyed every minute. Josh took us up to Dead Horse State Park where we started in the parking lot with safety basics before hitting the trails. As nervous newbies, this was perfect. Later, after lunch, we went to a couple trails at the Moab brand site. Interesting and informative day.

I thought I was an experienced rider. I found that I was a novice after 30 years of riding. The staff at Magpie took every step needed to make me be proficient at the trails we were about to traverse. The help was exceptional. The guides went out of their way to be educational and informative not only about how... More

It was a dream to ride Moab and Sasha made it happen on every level! We roadtripped our way west with our bikes and very different goals. Dad wanted to prove himself on the trails he reads about in the Bike Mags, Son was basically humoring Dad and hoping to get better riding rocks, Mom wanted to see sights, make... More

I took a private instructional mountain bike ride with Magpie guide Mike Adler. We started out at the Moab bike park, where Mike assessed my riding ability, and worked on reinforcing some skills. We then rode some trails that were appropriate--challenging, but fun. Mike is an excellent instructor on the trail as conditions change. He is also knowledgeable about local... More

Great instructor/guide, top-notch bikes, and good service. Jeff was a great guide and also very good instructor. He was able to find that fine line on the edge of your comfort level which was exactly what we were looking for. We are a family of four; our kids (14 and 17) are good mountain bikers and we are beginners. Jeff... More

So--in a nutshell--Based on our experience I would recommend Magpie Cycling to anyone interested in a great mountain biking experience. My husband and I are older but active road cyclist in pretty good condition and wanted to get some time in single track cycling with expert guidance. Our Magpie guides were Andy and Caroline and my husband and I both... More

We've never mountain biked out west, but Nancy in the office helped me coordinate an awesome morning ride with Mike and Jeff with my husband and son. Mike reviewed some riding tips that really helped them in the ride that followed. They also rented bikes from Magpie - they were top of the line Trek's, 2017 model, basically brand new... More

Everything about this trip exceeded expectations. The white rim tour had amazing views, good balance of technical riding and our guides (Mike & Anne) were awesome. They provided great instruction, prepared awesome meals (plenty of food) and are all around great people to spend 4 days with. Be sure to request Mike & Anne if you take this trip.

We had an awesome trip under the direction of Mike and Anne. They attended to every detail and made sure we enjoyed every minute of our trip. I am an outdoor enthusiast when it comes to activities, but this trip was my very first time camping. If you have any hesitation about the trip because of the camping, I can... More

Six friends on the four-day white rim trip. Make that eight friends - our guides Mike and Anne rocked it. They taught us a bit about MTB, suppressed giggles at our ineptitude, suffered through annoying college stories, cooked awesome meals, and made us feel at home. Thank you.
