No longer simply a rafting company, Red River Adventures is a leader in Moab multi-sport vacations! Don't be fooled by others offering "one stop" shopping only to be shuffled among the true providers once you arrive. We are the only guide service in town that holds permits to guide river, canyoneering, rock climbing, SUP and National Parks trips in house. On land or water our guides can do almost everything. For those trips we can't run ourselves, we've teamed up with some of Moab's best and will let you know, in advance, who will be guiding you. For one day or more we've got something for everyone!

We were at Utah for a touristic visit with my friends and because of being interested in rock climbing I wanted to have an experience in Moab. It was already thanksgiving holiday and evening but we took our chance and had a web search for...More

We went on the canyoneering/rappelling trip, and Adam was our guide. It was a blast! Adam had an air of confidence about him and did a great job of easing the anxieties of the more nervous members of our excursion. The knowledge that Red River's...More

My husband made the reservations and I was a bit hesitant as I didn't want to get into a class 3-4 situation with my teenage girls. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but you get to a point in your life where the reward outweighs...More

We met up at 7:30a and arrived back about 3:10p. They start by having you put on your harness for the repels - you'll wear this until you've completed your 2nd repel at which point you can remove and put in your backpack (you will...More

Mary and the Red River Adventures team were awesome. Mary kept us first timers off the cliff entertained on the hike in and out, but was all business when we approached the repel. She is an absolute pro. Thank you Mary

My husband and I booked a Morning Glory rappelling trip with Red River Adventure. Neither of us had done any rappelling. Our guide was Adam. We had lots of questions on the way in, and Adam and our driver answered them all. Rappelling was great,...More

Had a great time with carl, John, and John in big cottonwood canyon. I feel much more comfortable leading outside and taking falls (intentionally, in this case). Group was fun, safe, and knew what they were doing. Did a really good job managing the diverse...More

Any shoe or sandal that you can hike 3 miles in and can get wet. They can be open toe or closed it doesn't matter. Hybrids like Keen, Chaco or Teva work well but honestly any trail or road runner will work. Waterproof is... More

May is early in the season and the river is usually class II. There is very little chance that a raft would flip. We have the ability to avoid some of the bigger features if our guests wish to do so to further mitigate the... More
