Kind of a tourist trap, but worth the visit.

Hole 'N the Rock is a quick stop on the road South of Moab. The cost to tour the house blasted into the rock is about 6 dollars each, but it was a fun and interesting stop. I... read more

I barely remember this place. It was all the other rock formations that I remember. It will most likely be on your route to the other scenic adventures on your way through Canyonlands.

The ingenuity and fortitude of the early pioneers is amazing! It's very commercial but the history is fascinating!

Hole 'N the Rock is a quick stop on the road South of Moab. The cost to tour the house blasted into the rock is about 6 dollars each, but it was a fun and interesting stop. I don't think I would do it twice, but if you have never been there it is worth your time and money

A cool little road side attraction, if you are passing by stop in and check it out. Interesting story behind the house and who built it. Cool sculptures and gift shop to explore. I love odd road side attractions and stop every time I see one.

Came upon this jewel as we traveled south from Moab. Took the time to stop, and take the tour. What an amazing place! Definitely worth the time, don't think there is another place like this.

Lots of old stuff laying around. The steel sculptures are worth a look. Take a look but don't go out of your way.

We happened across this place while driving through Moab, and decided to stop for the tour. It is most impressive to see the 5,000 square foot home that was blasted out of the inside of this huge Moab rock! My family and I really enjoyed the tour, and the education that came with it. It's definitely something to see for... More

Don't go out of your way to visit. But if you have time and nothing on your list for an hour, it is an interesting place and take in a little history.

There is a few interesting articles to view here. We did not take the tour of the house in the rock. We kind of felt like it was a cheesy tourist trap that had noting to do with the natural beauty of the area.

Just a fun little spot with some great photo ops. Didn't tour the house but wouldn't rule it out the next time! Really a step into the past in some ways. Gotta love it!
