We always stop by this bookstore every time we visit Bayfield. Great staff picks, and they provide so much information regarding books that have personally read. The experience of talking to such knowledgeable staff make this a true gem.

I always love to check out these small bookstores when we travel and this one was a gem. It's cute outside and in, with a lovely authentic old feel and charm. The clerk was nice and helpful and helped me pick out a couple of books by local authors. I loved it. Definitely a must visit for every book lover in the area.

In my opinion, a gem of a bookstore! Located right on the main drag this place is packed with relevant must-reads. It's very clean, well organized and they have a very helpful, friendly staff. Picked up a few books and for the one we wanted but they didn't have, they inquired how long we would be in town and offered to have it ordered and for it to arrive within two days. Do yourself and the community a favor and support local indie bookstores- places like this make communities a better place to live and vacation!

What a great book store which will surprise you by the variety of its selections, the quality of it's inventory and the rich collection of local history, natural surroundings and local authors. This store is certainly designed for the entire family...board books for the very important young people also!

What a cute little bookstore! The inside was adorable, along with their decor and displays. The service we got was very kind. We actually came in twice, the first time to get out of the rain and look around. Two younger college-aged kids were very friendly and answered some questions about the area for us and the next day when we came back for purchasing, an older gentleman was very kind and eager to help us. Thank you very much! Keep doing what you're doing!

I'll admit that we are big readers and bookstores are always on our list to visit. We were not disappointed when entering Apostle Islands Booksellers. The staff was very friendly and eager to help us find what we were looking for. We browsed for a very long time and felt welcome to do so. I must admit we bought quite a few books and were rewarded with a high quality, reusable tote bag. I won't be able to keep my husband away from this place the next time we're anywhere close to Bayfield.

The sales clerk was knowledgeable about Toni Morrison, the author of the book I was seeking. She told us about a documentary she had just seen on PBS about Morrison, and even showed us a clip of it. Quite a lovely experience.

This bookstore is right on the main street of Bayfield. They have very good hours. Its selection is quite broad, with a particular special emphasis on the local area and Wisconsin. They do have good choices for all tastes and subjects.

Friendly, knowledgable staff. Unique collection of items I have not found elsewhere. Example - a book comparing types of mosquitos, and a field guide to earthworms. Plus more common books, as well. Fiction and non-fiction. I'd definitely go back.
