We walked through this park and enjoyed the scenery. There are a lot of war relics about and quite a few memorials to peace and the people who lost their lives on the island.

The Last Command Post is at the bottom of Suicide Cliff and next to the Korean and Japanese memorials. The bunker is pretty amazing and the first of it's kind that I've seen so it was especially awesome for me. The equipment and artillery are very interesting to see especially now as they weather the Saipan weather and humidity out in the open.

Definitely learn about the history of the island and pay respects to those who lost their lives in WWII. If you go in July, the trees are blooming with beautiful orange flowers and it’s truly magical.

Saipan offers an amazing outdoor museum on WWII iostory and relics. This site is last command post with bunker and artillery rusting away. Surrounding area are the Korean and Okinawan peace memorials. Visit to absorb history.

Quite a place to visit as it is full with history. But they could really put in some more effort to clean the place as it started to look really run down!

The Last Command Post Park is always a must-visit every time you're in Saipan. As the relics age and become one with the earth, visitors -- and residents, too -- should make the time to go there every chance that they get.

This is on the road if you’re heading to bonsai memorial cliff or suicide cliff. It has really cool old tanks and guns. You can also crawl in this bunker that was in the rock cliff. It has some parking, not a lot. And goats live there so there’s goat poop everywhere. Cool place to visit if you enjoy history. Not really a kids activity.

I live about 2 miles from this place. I visit often as I do my morning runs here. The last command post is just one of many wonderful and interest sites within about 1 mile of each other. There is much to see and experience here on the north end of Saipan. Please come and join us. You will not bee disappointed.

Our family toured the WWII sites on Saipan as well as the main museum at the National Park. The museum is excellent. The Last Command Post Park is close to both Banzai cliffs and Suicide Cliffs. All are fascinating and obviously very sad but important places to visit.

Last command post is very close to both banzai and suicide cliffs and on the way to the Grotto.
You should pull over and make a quick stop at a minimum.
Shows some of the big artillery that were used to help defend the island
