I had a great experience at Kabuki. The theater is beautifully decorated with Japanese style decor. Its a smaller theater that never gets too busy. Its advisable to buy tickets online as they do sell out. On the ground floor is one theater and the...More

The seats don't recline which I appreciate when I'm paying $20 for a movie. Ability to drink if you sit in the upper area.

Multiple movie theaters with a bar and "dine-in" food. Seats are comfortable, and venue can be good for people watching, which is good, as lines can be long and slow.

No longer Sundance, now AMC, and it's been renovated with an emphasis on food and drink. I guess they decided that there's more money as a restaurant than as a movie theater. Good place to see a show. Great neighborhood.

I've been going to the Sundance Kabuki for many years, preferring it over other theatres because of its location, services, cleanliness, lack of commercials, excellent choice of films, ability to reserve seats online...and more. Well, now that it has become an AMC theatre, you can...More

Goodbye independent Sundance Theater, it's been great with you. Don't expect to find any more independent films shown here now they're all commercial films from big studios. The concession lounge no longer offers gourmet food and beverage.

The Sundance Kabuki Cinema is in a fun part of town and the experience is the same. You can grab a quick drink at the bar if you're 21+ and settle in with some snacks to your reserved seats. This is great for a date...More

It's clean, the food is good, and its an experience geared towards adults especially if you sit in the balcony or the bar areas. Reserved seating is ideal. We're both over 6' tall and find the seating to be comfortable at our height.

They have a really good concession stand and a nice bistro that serves alcohol. Most auditoriums are quite small, so depending on which film you are going to see or in which auditorium it'll be shown, the overall experience can be very underwhelming. You can...More

I went to see a movie here and nearly froze to death. The coldest I have ever been at a movie theatre. In addition, a man sat down next to me who was clearly drunk yet kept drinking throughout the movie. It was disgusting but...More
