I rented two bikes for myself and a friend from the Haight St. location this weekend. We biked through Golden Gate park and then across the bridge into Sausalito before returning to SF on the ferry. We dropped our bikes off at the Fisherman's Wharf...More
One of the best activities and ways to get around San Francisco. Rent bikes and ride across the Golden Gate Bridge and go to the cute little town of Sausalito. Then take the the Ferry across the bay to Fisherman’s Wharf.

My family and I had a very fun afternoon exploring and riding the bikes we rented while in San Francisco on vacation. I reserved the bikes online in advance and they were there at the shop waiting for us when we arrived after lunch (we...More
This was the second time I've used this agency to rent bikes to cross the Golden Gate bridge. I booked online both times. In both occasions, the bikes were ready, and the service was pretty good. They provided maps and detailed instructions to make our...More
We booked online saving 20%. The booking process was easy, we opted for the Comfort Hybrid. This bike was perfect four our journey, but I would suggest someone that is unfit use an electric assisted bike.

We arrived at 4 PM thinking they were open until 7 PM as it said on the website. The attendant told us that they closed at six, leaving only two hours of biking. It was not enough time to ride through the park to the...More
We're picked up our bikes in the afternoon. The service was quick and friendly, after a quick but thorough map and lock explanation we were off! It was cooler than we expected, but kept moving and stayed warm. We biked down along the bay, stopped...More
I rented a road racer to do a big tour to cross the Golden Gate bridge into Sausalito and then on to Mount Tamalpais - Fairfax - Tocaloma - Olema - Stinson Beach - Muir Beach and back to Sausalito and into San Francisco.
We had a great day touring around Richmond , the Presidio, Golden Gate Park and riding over the bridge. I’ve been to SF many times but this provided a new view of these places.
The bike rental from this company was easy to do on...More
Packed with family-friendly entertainment, quality hotels, and good food, there’s something for everyone at Fisherman’s Wharf. From street performers and historic cable cars to art galleries and museums, a postcard-worthy photo is available on every corner. Bring your appetite: seafood lovers will be rewarded with Dungeness crab and sourdough bread bowls, while Ghirardelli Square will satiate anyone’s sweet tooth
after a day at Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Don't forget to say hello to the adorable sea lions that make this neighbourhood a true San Francisco treat.

You should go to pick up your bikes at 9am so you can be on your way by 9:30am. This will give you plenty of time for stops along the way. CA Palace of Arts to the left. Warming Hut before pedaling up to the bridge. View point before bridge. While crossing the bridge. Afterschool the bridge. You will want to stop plenty to take it all in. We arrived into Sausalito at noon to do lunch. You will want to take the ferry to Pier 39/41 to be closest to SF Bike Rentals. We took the 3:20pm ferry (to the Ferry Bldg which is a farther bike ride back to SF Bike Rentals). We arrived at the dock 30-45 min prior to departure and didn't have a problem boarding the ferry with bikes. There are two lines: one for passengers with bikes and another for passengers. Try to arrive at least half an hour prior to your departure time and you should be fine. Apparently, the earlier in the day you depart Sausalito to SF the better it is. Hope this helps. Napa Burger Co as lunch spot in Sausalito and it was excellent. Ice Cream at Lappert's a must.
