Well worth a visit, and the surroundings look very nice, just the usual Japanese themed shops and Japanese restaurants and even a 'Japanese mall' with anything Japanese, not big as the SF China town.

This is a city shopping mall with an unattractive design. Not a great result from 70s urban renewal. It is saved by an excellent movie theater and some great Japanese restaurants in the mall and in the area.
If you're moderately interested in Japan or Japanese culture or a full-fledged Japanophile; you will not be disappointed. Nice to walk through, but not a lot more. Mostly businesses selling Japanese-made products, from low to high end. A few restaurants (which I understand are better located on the adjoining side street). An hour should pretty much do it.
