Nice and funny attraction to do with family and kids but way shorter than we expected. We did twice in less than 15 minutes.

Absolutely loved this, a great way to entertain family members of all ages. You pay €10 each and can revisit any many times as you want on the same day. We had tons of fun and took some great photos. Highly recommended.

TL; DR - Best $10 and 20-40 mins you can spend around Fisherman's Wharf. Makes you feel like a kid again & a bit awestruck. Owner seems like a wonderful guy. Excellent spot for Instagram shots, if that's your thing.

I've lived in SF for 13+ years and have taken visitors there at 10-15 times. I know it may seem a bit kitschy/hokey, but it's really well designed & constructed, unlike the typical mirror mazes you'd find at carnivals, which are cheap and often smudged (they give you plastic gloves here, so the mirrors stay clean). Now that the Sea Lions are rarely around, this is arguably the only thing worth doing on Pier 39 (...OK, the outdoor magic shows are also pretty great, if you happen to be there at the right time to catch one). Few locals ever want to revisit Pier 39, but we feel obligated to take 1st-time visitors & kids, but even after 10-15 visits, I still look forward to the Mirror Maze.

I'm not really into social media, but the photo ops there are fantastic. The mirrors are aligned perfectly on adjoining hexagonal patterns, each of which have 1-4 sides missing, so you can back up in certain areas to get really cool 'Instagram-worthy' pics that show 6-8 staggered and versions of yourself at a single angle or stand in a single hexagon with one side missing to get 4-5 versions from different angles. The multi-colored lighting & identically ornate frames help make the images look really neat. It's way underrated, or it least not rated (marketed) enough. When I was on social media, I did notice that everyone we took there would immediately make shots from the MM their profile pic (myself included). One friend even wanted to return during a 2nd visit up here, solely to take more pics. I didn't say no (bc it was an excuse for me to go back and also one to eat at Tony's Pizza Nepoletana, which is hands-down the best pizza I've ever had)

I'm jealous of an experience my wife once had there with a friend mid-week, when they were the only customers for about 15 min. The owner (Mr Magowan, I presume) kindly offered to lead them on a sprint through the maze. He's obviously memorized the layout. He told them to stay just 1-2 feet behind & follow his lead, as he raced from end-to-end. My wife said it was quite exhilarating (with just the right amount of scary). I appreciate & like to acknowledge that kind of customer service. I also admire the youthful joy he still had for the obscurely odd business he created. That's prob why I just spent 10 mins writing this (perhaps unnecessarily) long review. I always feel compelled to acknowledge quirky people who want to add unique value to the world, especially if they're a small business owner, who goes out of their way to bring customers joy. He could've just sat there and let them have a standard good time wandering around the maze, but instead made the unexpected effort & used a brief window when there wre the other patrons, to offer them a more unique experience, one which 10+ years later I'm still a bit jealous of.

I had a lot of fun getting lost and confused for a bit in Magowan's Infinite Mirror Maze. Its a great place to laugh. I liked watching others as well.

For $5, its a great time.

It is located on Pier 39 in San Francisco.

A must stop if you are anywhere near Pier 39 is the Mirror Maze. It doesn’t take that long to find your way through but they don’t seem to mind if.you linger a bit. Wearing plastic gloves (provided) to keep the mirrors cleaner, you really do have to touch to find your way. The illusion is that good. Not much you can get these days for $5, and this is more than worth it.

Serious fun. Inexpensive and trippy, fun for the whole family. We spent about 25 min just laughing and exploring. You can go through in less than 5 min, though, if you don't want to explore. Hang on to your littles! They can get turned around easily and be hard to find. However, there is only one exit and entrance so never fear.

Standard mirror maze that charges $5 for each member of the family, and they let you go through as many times as you like. It takes less than five minutes to complete. Worth a stop if visiting Pier 39 and you have children.

What a crazy little place! The mirrors and neon lights combined add to the fun. It's pretty trippy and you can get disoriented ... but it's a hoot! Please hold onto your little ones, though - if they get away, you may not be able to get to them. We enjoyed our time there with our little one but kept close tabs, as in, physically attached. We ran into some young boys between 6 yo and 9 yo on their own, and they were scared. Best to accompany your kids under at least 10 yo. We will return.

Really good fun for $5!
We are both in our late 30’s and don’t have kids and loved this.
The maze is a little tricky as long as you don’t cheat and look down or up.
The colours a brilliant.
Well worth a visit.
