My review is not your typical review. The main reason being that i have never, ever, ever crossed the pond from my cosy home in Inverness, Scotland. And yet I had the most pleasant experience serving the owners of this bar. They are taking a...More

Fun historical bar with prompt service and cool classical beats. Good drinks and reasonable prices. Old school famous bar with nice upstairs area seating too.

Iconic place, went there on a late night after dinner for a few drinks. Good for cocktails and beers and of course the fetishism of being in such a mythic place. I mean seating where Kerouac sat once justifies the visit.

Ok surroundings and average drinks served without a smile. Quiet Monday night though. Could be better on the weekend.

What a groovy place to have a drink and a nostalgic look back at the 60s. Very different place. Good wine selection and a bit cheaper during Happy Hour. On the second floor, you get a good view of Columbus Street.

We ended up here on a Sunday night in the pouring rain, so it was not very busy. Needless to say, I would go back again just to look around more. Great drinks, incredibly friendly staff- the stories those walls could tell you.....Wow. Lots of...More

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's
Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique

awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on
dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who
gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or
practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands,
