Many folks are not aware of this museum but its one of the best kept secrets of the SF. Its located on a pretty spot where the views are great. The museum does not get as crowded as De Young and you can see a...More

It's a wonderful art exhibit and worth your time in the park to stop and see this. The Rodin's out side and the view of the city alone is worth the drive so take the time to see this wonderful place. I hope you have...More

Despite what the name suggests, Legion of Honor is not a military museum. Instead, this is the museum of European arts as a part of the San Francisco fine arts museum system. As impressive as the Greco-Roman temple architecture, Legion of Honor's art collection is...More

This is my favorite San Francisco art museum. The rooms are beautiful and intimate and there is a good variety in the displays.

24 years ago I proposed to my wife here in front of the left columns ( view from the thinking man). We came back on our 23 wedding anniversary to enjoy the museum and take in the beauty that is the seacliff area. The exhibits...More

great paintings and statues of every art period from gothic to Impressionism. Rodin statues abound. The grounds overlook the Golden Gate Bridge and the entry to the Pacific Ocean.

My wife and I love the diversity of San Frans Architecture and the Legion of Honor is one of the standouts in an outstanding City. Easy to walk too but get there early so you can avoid crowds trying to get the perfect selfie!
