You don't have to be 'into' museums to enjoy this place. It's so impressive you'll be glad you visited. The exhibitions are stunning and very well set out. So glad my San Fran family took me here, definitely a highlight. A bit of walking so...More

The Legion of Honor is located in a beautiful, dare I say, breathtaking spot in San Francisco. It is always a joy for me to visit. The current exhibition, Casanova, is extremely well curated with objects of art, clothing, porcelain and silver depicting life among...More

We have visited San Francisco many times and for some reason never gotten out to the Legion of Honor Art Museum in Lincoln Park, perhaps because it is some distance from downtown. We were somewhat surprised when the cab ride came to almost $20 but...More

Fabulous museum and dining room. I would not miss this gem of San Francisco. The holdings are excellent and the Casanova exhibition was a real treat, so much more than art...furniture, costumes, decorative items ...like walking into miniature sets in Italy, France, and England!!

My 14-year-old son and I stopped here as part of our self-guided bike tour of the Western side of the city. It was the perfect stopping point -- great place to see some lovely art and enjoy lunch.
