I love these hop on hop off city bus tours, I have done several in various cities, they are a great way of seeing the major sites with a commentary as you go with the freedom of stopping at the places you want to explore...More

We had two great commentators but we had one lady that was screaming! And she said "$20 is the usual tip and we usually don't get that" at every stop people were getting off. We already paid over $50 a person. The tip she got...More

We bought a two-day ticket and covered the Red and Blue lines and the Sausalito tour (we took the ferry across then the bus back), all of which were great. We felt like we got to see most of the city. It's luck of the...More

Fantastic tours with Don, who offered tremendous amounts of information with an unique wit. We visited China Town, the inner city shopping area and neighborhoods where famous stars lived. Our Golden Gate area tour was filled with the tour of area homes, the Golden Gate...More

Very fun tour today! You must ask for Taylor. He knows the city and he was fun and funny! Ask him to sing! You won't be sorry! I've taken tours all over the world and this ranks as one of the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed the commentary - varied between tour guides so not a memorized script for when you rode part of the tour twice - from the guides (although please pay them enough so they don't have to beg for tips!). We also took the...More

This is a reasonable way to get an overview of the city, but the commentary was very disappointing. The woman's delivery was too rapid and difficult at times to hear. She seemed to think that her task was to entertain rather than inform, and ended...More

Very disappointing. The blue loop and the night loop are very good, but unfortunately the guides did not give us many cultural and interesting comments. It was more like a list of restaurants, bars and things to visit. I was expecting to learn more about...More

Went on this tour yesterday, have done them in Barcelona and Rome and they are usually good. I'll start with a positive - our first tour guide,he was an older gentleman (older than the other guides anyway) (I think his name was Rodney) was knowledgeable,...More

Sorry, no idea. We returned our hire car on arrival in SF, and used public transport to visit the city
When is the first bus on the garden and beach, SF route?

Hello, For the Golden Gate Park and beach tour. The first one departs from Union Square at 10:00 am. The tour runs every hour on the hour till 4:00 pm.
I'm so confused. There are some amazing reviews and some that say the buses don't actually come on time. It looks like the perfect tour that I want because I can't walk far or wait around a lot but can is this tour worth it or would it just be better to plan going to the same places through public transport options?

Hi! If you don't want to get off of the bus, it is a fantastic way to see the city. The timing of the pick-ups can be frustrating, but judging by the surprise on the tour-guide's face, the issue I had is not a very common... More
