We bought a 3 day pass combined with entry to Alcatraz. (Later learnt the City Sightseeing office sometimes has returned Alcatraz tickets for that day, worth a try if you haven't pre booked) There were 2 routes, red and blue, red runs hourly and blue...More

We have used this company all over the world and found them to be excellent. Sadly this was far from our experience in San Francisco and the reason being they don't run enough buses. San Francisco is a busy city especially in August and instead...More

I chose City Sightseeing for our bus tour because of the Alcatraz tickets, which was the part of the ticket that went well. I had to purchase a three day pass to get these tickets - other than that, it was not a very good...More

After a slightly stressful day on the 3rd Day of my SF trip, I boarded Norm's red line bus at Union station. He made the tour extra fun and went above and beyond making extra recommendations of things to do for myself and others on...More

Stay far away from this operator. This is San Francisco's slum-lord of hop on hop off tour operators. Go Grayline or another company but don't buy from this company. They have only a few buses that are usually over crowded. They say the buses come...More

You board this bus at the Golden Gate Bridge stop. The Sausalito bus goes over the bridge and does a loop of the town and takes about an hour and a half and drops you back off at the Golden Gate Bridge stop.

You get the red route bus to the Goldwn Gate bridge and then change to the shuttle bus that takes you over the bridge to Sausalito. Beware though that they cancel these shuttles a lot without telling you until you are there.
