Homage to the Old Clubs

We had lunch with friends in North Beach and did a little walk around afterwards and were pleased to find this classic mural that really enhances an area that was once home to a lot of classic jazz clubs. Not so much anymore.

Excellent Mural

This is a great mural, maybe more noticed these days when life has become more quiet and folks are drinking and dining in small outdoor settings and walking around, out of their cars. Good art.

I was doing a walking tour through Chinatown-North Beach and saw this mural on the building. Its a jazz mural and quite impressive to see.

Right next to the sculpture, Language Of The Birds, is a terrific mural of jazz. A great part of the city adjacent to North Beach (Little Italy) and Chinatown.
