it is almost impossible to see all the things in SF without a bike. The service is very helpful and bikes are good. They offer tourist bikes but also tandems or mountain bikes. In 4 hours we made over 30km.

We walked along Fisherman's Wharf to this rental office, closest to the start of the bike trail to the bridge. That way you don't have to cope with biking on roads until you reach the bridge. All the rental places charge the same anyway. The...More

We rented our bikes at the Bike and Roll near the Hyatt at Embarcadero Center. This is a longer distance from the Golden Gate bridge than the rentals at Fisherman's Wharf and requires riding in traffic for a few miles (although there is a bike...More

We rented two bikes from the Columbus Ave location, for one day. They asked us to leave a credit card for a deposit of $100 each. I did so, thinking this was a reputable place. We returned the bike that evening, but they still charged...More

Russian Hill
Russian Hill has evolved into a chic residential
neighborhood with outstanding views from every corner.
Combined with several great cafes, restaurants,
antique shops and boutiques, it’s easy to see why any
visitor would gladly leave their heart in San
Francisco. Cars line up day after day to drive down
Lombard Street, the “crookedest” street in the world,
and make the slow creep downhill past charming period
