Tickets to San Francisco's Alcatraz Island are $41 (including ferry fare) and will be available 90 days in advance. However, San Francisco Alcatraz Island tickets are quite popular, before the epidemic is basically a second kill, it is recommended to buy as early as possible, if you do not get it, you can also consider participating in the package trip including Alcatraz Island

Crissy Field is a wonderful location for family, couple, or portrait photos. it provides flexibility of having the Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz, and the city as a backdrop. Highly recommended if you're looking for memorable photos.

Now for picnics and dog walking but was an old air strip serving Amelia Earhart and Charles Lindbergh.
The control tower remains to enhance the visit.

Great place to come for the views of the bay, history and the people. Sit on a bench and watch people go by. Was a great day.

A favorite site of mine in all of San Francisco. Sort of a walking gateway to the Golden Gate Bridge. Lots of beach to roam in this National Park Service managed ecosystem. Great area for birders as well as dog walkers. Typically I take a city bus to a nearby stop. Then I begin my stroll. But can be windy and foggy at times. Particularly summer mornings. Food, souvenirs, supplies available at the Warming Hut closer to Fort Point and the Bridge. On the way, you'll discover a marine information center neat the old pier. Walk uphill to the bridge landing by following the upslope trail just past the Warming Hut. Views of Alcatraz, the Bridge, and Sausalito.

This is a great park in San Francisco, located next to the ocean, overlooking the Golden Gate bridge.
There are countless locals jogging through the park, as well as numerous tourists.

I took a long walk from The Presidio down to Crissy Field on my recent visit.
It was a blustery, half-foggy Wednesday morning and everything was perfect.
From the container ship emerging from an ominous looking (but usual) fog bank to the wildflowers in blooms, the dogs and owners on parade, and the great blue heron skilling through the grasses, I had a visual feast. So did my camera. And the foghorns blaring (there are five on the Golden Gate Bridge alone) were a reassuring reminder of the three years I lived in the outer Sunset in my law school days.
A beautiful spot that is always full of nature and activity.

This is a beautiful, green area on the coast with a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Dd not leave anything in your car here. It is a theft haven.

From here you have great views of the Golden Gate Bridge. We got a coffee at the cafe there and sat outside watching the world go by!

Crissy field is situated south of Golden Gate bridge. Tourists walk on the field and can have iconic views of the Bay. It is a public recreation area.

the beach is fairly small. and its usually pretty windy. but there are no life guards or rangers that i'm aware of...so a temporary 10 x10 ...my guess...probably OK.

how to reach here with public transport?

It depends where you're coming from. Go to the SFMTA website (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) and go to "Plan a Trip"
You can also use the Directions feature from Google maps./
Have fun in San Francisco! We've never rented a car and have been able to use their public transportation system very efficiently!
