The perfect place to imagine the BEST of governments, the perseverance of justice, glorious music and eternal wedding vows.

i did not expect but it was not bad idea to drop by the city hall. I think the decoration does not represent the actual architectural era of the building. 별 생각 없이 들어갔는데, 생각보다 크고 잘 꾸며 놔서 나쁘지 않았다. 다만, 너무 유럽스타일 복사해서...More

We have been to all the State Capitols and San Francisco City Hall is more impressive than most State Capitol. Although we have been there before, this time we attended a wedding there. What a great setting for a wedding. We were told that there...More

When my partner and I decided to get married, there was no question about where we’re gonna do it. There’s no other place like at City Hall. “I do.”

Good place to visit when in San Francisco. Historical place. Good historical construction. You can spend 30 minutes. Walking around.

Apparently a place to get married - we saw eight wedding parties there on a Thursday afternoon. Gorgeous architecture.

Visited on a coach tour of San Francisco but didn't go inside. Knitted covers over tree trunks were unusual but were an attraction.

We stopped at San Francisco City Hall on a city tour. I did not know what to expect when we arrived but I was not disappointed. The interior of the building is stunning.

Don't get me wrong, this is a stunning building however to reach it, you have to pass the 'sea' of rough looking street sleepers like I have never seen before. Surely every major city in this world has this problem, however ignoring the issue is...More

Civic Center is the seat of power for all things
government and performance-related in the city.
Although its streets are best walked during daytime,
numerous cultural gems are within close proximity to
one another. The symphony, opera, ballet, and jazz
center offer year round entertainment within the
shadow of the city’s Beaux-Arts crown jewel: the gold
tipped dome of City Hall.

Hi, I am from Singapore and am researching on getting married in San Francisco City Hall this year. I understand from the SF County website that there are two appointments to be made 90 days in advance - first being the marriage license, and the latter being the civil ceremony. I am planning for a 2-weeks vacation in SF as this is the maximum number of days that I can get away from work. This is an important milestone in both my boyfriend's and my lives and we are a little disappointed that we are only able to obtain copies of the marriage certificate 2 to 4 weeks after the request. Is there any opportunities that we can get the marriage certificate before we leave the city? Also, I read that we will need to get the certified original "apostilled". Is it necessary to get this? Please advise. Liz
