We loved these steps, enjoyed the little bit of exercise. Looking at all the gardens and places on the way up. Going down you get to see a different view. Def recommend this one

Find a way to get up to Coit Tower and then plan to walk down these steep stairs. The views of the Bay and downtown are great, the architecture along the way is charming. A very special part of the City

We walked up these stairs heading to Coit Tower.
Despite encountering a sign warning us from coyotes, we saw none.
The climb itself was pretty easy.

We actually came from Stockton Street and walked up to Coit Tower. We found Filbert steps and walked down. It was very step and it is slick if it is wet. I enjoyed the view from the top though! If you don’t want to take steps, you can drive to Coit Tower and park.

Amazing views and your cardio workout for the day. I slowly walked the steps while my very patient son waited for me at each landing. This climb is so worth it and at the end is Coit Tower!

We did the steps actually after the Coit Tower as we headed towards the water. These steps are great as you get to see old school houses and gardens, and there are even areas where you wouldn't believe you are in the middle of a city. These steps are not for everyone as you need to be able to take them in pretty rapid succession, although there are some areas to take breaks.

Nice walk to Coit Tower via Filbert. Beautiful surroundings. Not very strenuous, rather easy walk to the top. Good view of the city and water.

The Dilbert Steps are an excellent way to get to the Coit Tower. It’s a great part of older San Francisco. There are houses and gardens all along. Views amazing.

What a fun adventurous way to get to Coit Tower and quite an accomplishment! My wife enjoyed the beautiful plants and flowers along the way. It gave her an opportunity to stop, take pictures and catch our breath along the way!!

One of my favorite things to do when visiting the city. You take steps through gardens and then end up at Hoot tower. Then walk down to little Italy for lunch. Great urban hike.
