We were entertaining some old friends visiting from New Orleans and wanted to give them yet another taste of San Francisco. They have been here several times and have seen most of the typical "tourist" destinations. Much to our surprise, they had not been to...More

We've been to the Club Fugazi several times to see Beach Blanket Babylon over the years. We've not been disappointed because they always update their shows with current events. We got discounted tickets through Goldstar which makes it much more affordable to see the show....More

Beach Blanket Babylon is well worth the price of admission and more. Nonstop music, singing, corny humor and laughter. This show has been going for 40 years, I last saw it some 25-30 years ago, and it is still the hottest ticket in town. Wonderfully...More

Babylon. This is the longest topical musical revue on the planet....that's what they claim. Small theatre, both reserved as well as unreserved sections. Unreserved is good enough provided you reach and stand in the Q at least an hour before the show. You can sip...More

Beach Blanket Babylon is a full entertainment package. Performers belt out favorites, dance to impress and costumes with headpieces that are outrageous. All this plus the politics that keeps your rolling. If you can't find several things to laugh about then Snow White will never...More

A definite "must see" for both locals and visitors. It stays timely and relevant ... and fun. We recently revisited the city and thoroughly enjoyed Beach Blanket Babylon -- just as we did 20 years ago when we lived nearby in Marin. The show remains...More

I love how the show is about what's happening now. I didn't appreciate the Bill Cosby skit. They definitely could have left that out. :( Food: cookies and snack food. No meals. A variety of beverages including wine.

It helps if you keep up with politics to fully enjoy the show. Even if you don't, the costumes, outrageous hair stylings, the singing, dancing, and live instrumental music to accompany the performers will keep you entertained at Beach Blank Babylon. This is a show...More

Fun. Clever . Amazing with how they must change with the times. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. A relaxed informal evening out .

Saw "Beach Blanket Babylon" at Club Fuguzi. It's a musical comedy revue that's been playing here for forty years, yet they keep updating it to keep the political humor current. Elaborate costumes and wigs add to the fun. Nice venue with beverage service at your...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.

Any seats in the front cabaret or center balcony are good. If you don't have a reserved seat (tables at the foot of the stage and front rows in front cabaret) get there early so your party can be guaranteed to sit together... More
