By any standards very expensive boat rentals to row/paddle on a decidedly sub par man-made water feature. Forget trying to walk here as well. The whole park is set up to be explored by car only.

The pedalo hire at Stow Lake is well worth it, an hour will do fine for a gentle pedal around the lake among the geese, gulls and turtles. We absolutely loved it, great break from the city and a good laugh.

It's nice, but's it's really not a lake per se. It is a ring of water around Strawberry Hill. Of course, there is nothing wrong with that. Just don't expect to do any waterskiing or other similar things on this "lake." :-)
